Rawminimal is a Romanian music label run by a friend of mine, dedicated exclusively to ro-minimal, a local sub-genre of techno built around floating, trippy, wavey sound. If you're tuned in to the movement it's instantly recognisable; if you're not, it just sounds like minimal techno played by someone paying very close attention.
The brief was simple: a mark for a label that knows exactly what it is.
One line, two words, one step
A continuous line that fuses the two halves of the name.
The mark is a single continuous line that forms a step, raw sitting on the upper level, minimal dropping to the lower. The letters themselves are hand-drawn, loose, deliberately imperfect. The whole thing is one gesture: a drop, a threshold, a single motion that joins the two words.
It fits the music. Ro-minimal is built on restraint, fewer elements, more space, one small detail repeated until it becomes the whole track. A mark made of one line is the right visual answer to that.
