Maderro Metal Works is a metalworking studio with a deep portfolio of finished pieces, railings, gates, structural and decorative work, all executed in-house. The brief was a product catalogue: a clean lookbook that presents the client's own work without competing with it.
Delivered as a Figma deck
A format the client can extend themselves.
The catalogue was built and delivered as a Figma deck rather than a static PDF. That choice was deliberate: Maderro ships new projects regularly, and a static catalogue would have been outdated within a month. With the deck as a living document, they can drop in new work, rearrange sections, and export an updated PDF whenever they need one, without coming back for another round of design work.
The design itself stays out of the way. Tight type hierarchy, generous whitespace around each project shot, and a dark ground that makes the metalwork read clearly. When the product is the photograph, the layout's job is to disappear.
When the client can update their own catalogue without rehiring, the design has genuinely shipped.
